Aruuubbba

DH and I are considering going to Aruba for our one year anniversary!!

We are strongly considering staying at the Hyatt (looks gorgeous!!) but are concerned about extra costs since the hotel isn't all inclusive (which I read is best since there are so many amazing restaurants).

We are going to try to book a package that includes breakfast. However, for anyone who has been there, approximately how much money do you need each day for food/drinks (not including breakfast) in Aruba (we're not big drinkers but enjoy a drink here and there)?

TIA!!!

eta: Some pics of the resort while I'm dreaming of being there.....

Re: Aruuubbba

We stayed at the hyatt for our honeymoon last year and loved it... we got a package that included breakfast (buffet) so what we did was eat kind of a big breakfast, skipped lunch, and then went out to dinner... During the day we were always just at the beach or the pool so if we did get hungry we ordered a small snack to share, but we only did that maybe two or three times. I don't really remember exactly how much dinner was each night but depending where you go, the range could be anywhere from 50-100 for two people... That's off the top of my head, I don't really remember... The places are definitely more expensive than here but we expected that. If you go, definitely get the breakfast package and just eat a big breakfast... that way you can skip lunch and just save your money for dinner. Hope that was helpful... If you have any more questions, you can fm me

Re: Aruuubbba

We went out to dinner every night in aruba and we spent between 100 and 200 a night depending on where we ate and how many drinks we bought.

The hayatt is in an amazing spot right near the shops and the food.

If you can afford to stay there then do ... footprints was an amazing place to eat there too
