B-Pics!!!
I think I'm finally going to do it! After reading all the posts during wedding planning I wanted to but at that point it just wasnt in the budget. But now I'm thinking one year anniversary present
Any advice from the girls who did them already? Was your FH/DH confused when you gave him the book? How did you explain? Also how long did it take to get the album? I want to leave myself as long as I can to tone up somemore...haha. Eeek! I'm kind of nervous just thinking about it.Thanks!

Re: B-Pics!!!
I did B-pics for my one year anniversary... the photo shoot was about 6 weeks before, and the album arrived within like 3 weeks. She had all of my edited photos available within about a week after the shoot, so everything moved pretty quickly, especially since she knew that it was for an anniversary gift.As for giving them to DH, I just wrapped the album up with his other gifts and his card, and when he opened it he just gave me this look like 'what is this??? you did this for me???' And I just said I thought it might be something he would enjoy
No real explanation necessary. More than anything, he wanted to know when I found the time to sneak out and do this when he wasn't around!!

Re: B-Pics!!!
Thanks so much for the feedback. Of course I'll double check with the place I'm thinking of going to but that means I have 2 months or so for serious gym time... that sounds pretty good to me. I think its a good anniversary gift. Its surprising and sticks with the paper theme for 1st anniversary. Aside from being surprised, did your DH love it?!?!

Re: B-Pics!!!
i loved doing mine - the pics were fun to take! i did it about a year before my wedding (part of me wishes i waited longer because i lost another 10 pounds before my wedding but i guess the pics in the book are basically what i look like now
)anyway, gave DH the book on our wedding night because i couldnt wait any longer
he was a little confused sort of like, this is awesome, but ive never heard of such a thing before, etc. anyway, long story short i think his biggest concern was finding out whether the photographer was male or female
the book is on his nightstand, but i dont think he's opened it since our wedding night
anyway, i still thought it was a fun liberating experience for me
ETA: i didnt pay a lot of money for mine. i think i would be disappointed if i paid $1000 for it and my DH had the same reaction he did

Re: B-Pics!!!
my DH LOVED my bpics album that I gave to him.he was really surprised like - what is this? i didn't even know they did this kind of stuff type of reaction!
He doesn't look at the album all the time, but everyone once in 6 months i'll take the album out and put it where he will see it and he'll peruse it again
it makes me feel awesome that he thinks i'm that sexy.
I did my bpics with Jen from Jenerations and i was lucky I even got the appointment I did because I booked in March and I got a last minute cancelation in April because if not her first was sometimes in May and I needed the album done by June.
It took her at least a month to get the edited pics back to me and another 2 weeks for me to get my a$$in gear, go onto shutterfly, create the album and have it shipped to me.
So def ask how far out they are with taking reservations now to see if you really have as much time as you think to hit the gym.
Either way, there will always be something we hate about yourselves - but our DH will probably not see these flaws and find us incredibly attractive anyway

Re: B-Pics!!!
I was originally disappointed with DH's reaction! I couldn't wait for the wedding so I gave it to him for his birthday. He has since taken it out and looked at it. It's in his underwear drawer, so when he stumbles across it he said its a nice surprise! I am glad I did it because it gave me self confidence. Funny thing is that the further away from the shoot the more I knit pick the pics, haha!

YES! My DH loved it! I think he could tell that it gave me a great confidence boost and he said he loves the photos - super sexy.

OMG this describes me exactly lol.
I also wish I didn't do them so early because I lost way more weight closer to the wedding.
DH was also kinda confused and one of his first questions was if the photographer was a guy
LIke he confirmed several times that it was a woman. After that he did enjoy the pics but like lisa, it's in his nightstand and I don't know how many times he's looked at them.
I wish there were more artistic ones like of just the legs and shoes or just the silhouette or something that I could use around the house.

Re: B-Pics!!!
i did this as a gift for DH the night before our wedding. I had mentioned bpics to him a while back so when he saw it he kinda had an idea of what it was. He was more confused about when I did, and how did I sneak out etc.I made an album myself on mixbook, and it took a few days to get. I also had a canvas print made from a groupon i bought of one of the 'PG' shots ha. I plan on hanging it in my bedroom one day.
I don't think DH has really looked at it since, and it was expensive, but years from now I will always to be able to look back and say, man I was hott! hahaha. And DH can do the same

Re: B-Pics!!!
I gave DH his album the morning of the wedding and had it video taped so I could see his reaction, I also had his friend put him on speaker phone for me so I could hear his reaction...he was speechless! lol and shocked! The next day we looked at it together and I explained it all to him, he absolutely loved it and could not believe I did it all behind his back! lol
HIs book is on his nightstand and he definitely looks at it from time to time, he even had a case made for his phone with one of the less revealing pics on it and he uses the pics often for wallpaper on his phone lol!
doooo it! it was so so so so much fun!!! I loved the experience! I hope to do it again in the future

Re: B-Pics!!!
Thanks again for all the support/advice. I really think I'm going to do it. I wish more DH's 'got' the whole thing...I'm sure they still appreciate it though, right? And to be honest it is for me too... I've been working hard to get in shape and it sounds like all of you enjoyed the experience. Here's to hoping my DH loves them. I'll let you all know when theyre booked
