Babies

So the more people around me have babies, the more I realize that I do not have any urge to reproduce...

Do you think there is something wrong with me? When I hold a newborn, I never got the feeling like, 'ohhhh, lets try to have one' I get excited knowing I can hand this child back.

I hope I am not alone!!!

Everytime I see a cute baby or hold one my baby hormones go NUTS. I've already got baby fever, but w/ cute babies near me it goes through the rooooof.

I definitely don't think you're alone- I love babies, I love playing with them, holding them, and I love how tiny their hands are.... that being said... I love OTHER people's babies- I love how I can give them back.

I want a child eventually but I know I am not ready now.

I love babies.. I love holding them, playing with them... and I love it more that I know I'm giving it back and going home to my dogs.

You are not alone... not to sound heartless, but I don't even have any desire to hold a baby or play with one. And forget about the minute that I start to hear any fussing or crying... I'm running for the hills

I understand that this makes me sound like a freak but I'm still holding out that one day the 'mom gene' will kick in...

I was like that for a loooooong time. I have zero experience with babies. Then one day, baby fever hit me like a ton of bricks. I keep seeing toddlers and thinking how cool it would be to have a little mini me.
It doesn't help that I'm an old hag, so I feel like I'm in a race against time

Your not alone! I feel the same way..... I really just want to enjoy this time with my DH..... Maybe down the road... I still have so much I want to do and see before the Gremlins come ! lol

i dont have baby fever. even when my neice was born..it was cool.. but this whole FOREVER thing is pretty scary
