Re: Bellissimo in Amityville

I live in Amityville and I've been there several times - and personally - NO - it is not a place I'd choose for a shower!

We had a simple bday dinner there for my brother - food was...OK. Not good enough for me to choose to go back.

The past 2 years in a row - My company has had our Xmas party ...and each time there were issues. 1st year people got sick on the food - it seemed the kitchen was overwhelmed as a 3hr party was 4 1/2 cause they couldn't get the food out. Last year - same service issues and the food just was OK.... they are definately changing places for this year's party.

Honestly - it's not a place I would pick... feel free to FM me if you want info on other Amityville area places!

Re: Bellissimo in Amityville

my shower was at bellissimo, and i had a great experience. the private room is very cute, and can easily fit up to 40 or 50 people. the food was much better than i was expecting and the staff is really accomodating. we had a few last minute cancellations, so they packed up food for us to take home.

i would definitely recommend bellissimo for a shower.
