catered parties

need advice...

if i were to cater food and get alcohol for a party of 60 ppl.

what would you put on the menu and how much would you buy??

how much liquor? how many trays of food?

help!!!

Ive done this on a much smaller scale but the place I ordered food had all different sizes of trays .. so if you have 60 people and trays feed 20 people Id probably get like 5 trays of different stuff. You'll prob have food left over but better to be safe.

You can talk to wherever you are getting it catered, they will be able to help.

As far as alcohol Id get handles of liquor like JD and Captain Morgan (or similar) and Id have more vodka since that seems to go the fastest.

I would do 2 party trays of each:
pasta
veggie and/or rice
chicken dish
eggplant dish
sausage and peppers
meat dish like sliced steak or ribs, etca shrimp or fish dish
big salad bowl and bread

( I always have leftover food, but I am always afraid I won't have enough)

As for alcohol... depends on what kinbd of people you have,... maybe like 2 coolers of beer, than a bowl of white sangria and a bowl of red sangria and soda and waters?? I don't know. HTH
