Do I tip?

Someone from our building's maintenance crew is coming by in 20 minutes to put our closet door back on track...the door is currently laying on the floor in the main room of our 1 bedroom apt haha

Do I tip him even though we pay through the eyes for the apartment? Yeah, right? Think a few bucks is okay?

Trying to do some major spring cleaning/organizing while DH is away

ETA: Ya nevermind about tipping - I was stood up

Ya, I had a $5 bill on my desk waiting...I hate going into my wallet in front of anyone...not sure why.

Too bad our closet door is still in the middle of our apartment.

personally, i would not tip.

we give each of the maintenance workers a 'bonus/tip' during christmas. they seem appreciative and are nice to us all year. not sure what the other tenants do. but, no, i wouldnt tip. we pay money each month for maintenance
