Do you wear a hat at the beach?

I have to pick something to take with me to Florida for the beach in the spring...I burn like a lobster.

What do you wear?

A fairly hideous floppy pink hat. Hey, it keeps me comfortable and free from sun burns.

I wear a baseball cap or a wide brimmed straw hat. I also get mega-red and both seem to work fine. If you wear a ball cap be sure to lube up your ears with spf.

wide brimmed cotton hat. I burn like a mofo and my mom had skin cancer on her face so i'm suuuper careful! if I'm not reading i cover my face totally with the hat....

I don't, but I don't burn. If you burn, get a cute beach hat or baseball cap would work.

i have a gigantic hat that a friend bought for me to bring on my honeymoon. I usually do not like to be covered up though, I like to feel the sun!

i usually bring a baseball cap and wear it part of the time bc otherwise my scalp burns and it hurts like a biotch!

Definitely was topless at Jones beach. LOL

I promised myself that after this past summer I would be super careful and not caring about being tan.

I only went topless so my boobies wouldn't be so obviously tan lined for bpics.

But never had so many people talking about me within earshot as I did that day.

DH was like '... okay that guy is looking, THAT guy is looking. Those OLD LADIES are looking. That four year old is coming over to grab you.'
