Don't bother going to buy water...

There's NONE left!

I just went over to target and you would think it was the apocalypse. I just had to laugh at everyone running around frantically, 'NO MORE BOTTLED WATER?!?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO MORE BOTTLED WATER?!?' The employees were all just standing around laughing to one another and avoiding all of the crazed shoppers.

This too shall pass, and if the world really was about to end, I certianly wouldn't want to sit around drinking water. DH and I will be stocking up on WINE!

Oh, but I did buy 2 boxes of rice-a-roni... you know... just in case

Yeah, Key Food had no gallons, but I had gotten one yesterday so I got 2 quarts since they still had a few of those

Went to 6 places to find D batteries

Running to Trader Joe's in a bit for vino and snacks

CVS in Sunnyside had tons of cases of water. I was going to get one but I wouldnt have been able to carry it to my car.

DH went yesterday and said EVERYTHING was gone - he couldn't even find matches!!!

but i just bought 2 cases of water at Waldbaums in Uniondale (on Merrick Ave) - they had just restocked it

DH texted me that he got the essentials...cigarettes, beer, batteries, water, cash and gas.

I went Wednesday and stocked up. I just went earlier this morning, and you would think they were giving away money! People yelling, screaming, pushing each other to get to the battery case, and let's not even talk about the water bottle aisle. I've never seen the shelves so bare.

I bought a ton of water last weekend (just because we needed it), so we have enough to last us a week or more. I'm not even bothering to go to the supermarket and stock up - I'm sure things will go back to normal in a few days even if we do get a big hurricane in the area. We have enough food from my shopping last week to last us a few days.

And if we run out of food, it will be a good idea, or I'll come knocking on some of your doors if you're near by

I got 2 cases last weekend just cuz it was on sale, so whatever I drank out of I just refilled just in case.

we were just in costco and we went to get kitty litter, and i swear, we were the only ones without at least 2 cases of water in our cart
