Above is a pic of the previous owner's style.

Below are the kitchen redo pics; Still to come is the kitchen floor, and painting has to be finished. The new island and pantry are antique glaze, which they chose as a contrast. Mary MOB

Thanks girls, appreciate it!!! I'm really amazed at all the stuff Donna and Josh did themselves!!! They installed all the new kitchen light fixtures, including the fan , they painted the old kitchen cabinets, installed new cabinet handles, installed a new faucet in the half bath, and yesterday, they installed that metal backsplash. Donna said they want to change the backsplash, when they can afford it, with some kind of a stone type, but I love the metal. She also said, that they used temporary adhesive strips, so the backsplash can be removed easily, but they did use a silicon product to seal at the bottom, to keep water from leaking behind it.
