duet brides, ? for ya

The morning of my wedding we were running very late with hair and make up and so I didn't get to take any pics at home with my mom and BM's... etc. It sucks but what could I do. Tj had to get to the church. I should add, he was right on time and started shooting immediately.

Then I felt like we took a bunch of pics at JT but not many 'posed' ones. I know Duet does magazine style and it's what I loved about them the most however I am afraid I don't have a lot of 'album pics' now and more just pics of the party. I hope I am making sense

Did anyone else feel this way, and were they pleasantly surprised? I did give them a must take list which they did do but I didn't have too many on there as I trusted them an their work

we ran late too but we planned to take all of our pics beforehand so it wasn't a bad thing for us. i don't feel like we didn't get enough posed pics so i'm not in the same boat as you, but i'm sure your pics will be gorgeous and you will have enough!! if he didn't think you did, i'm sure he would have kept you taking pics longer after the ceremony or something!

yea, i gotcha! but for your album you're probably only gonna want so many posed pics and the rest action shots right?

we used tj and they left the house early as well to get to the church...he said they wanted to look for parking,even thoough i live 5 min away???

so we didnt take any froup shots outside the house but we did at the church and fox hollow..

i actually wish i had more party pics..we have tons of posed ones..and alot from kevin our second photog who most of the time i didnt even know he was taking..

i know the wait stinks..but i know ur pics will be gorgeous..if u want i have some in my album and tons on fb if u want to see more of tjs work

Thank you! You both made me feel much better. I do want action shots of course but some of their posed shots are so beautiful. Or maybe they aren't posed but just look that way bc they are so talented. I guess we shall see.

this will def make u feel better lol...

tj did not like us lol...well i should say did not like the gms...they were all hammered by the time we got to fox hollow and when we were trying to get pics he kept telling them where to go etc etc and they were just laughing or falling down and he was getting kinda frustrated..

at the end of the night when we gave him the tip he apologized saying he didnt mean to be hard it was just that he ahs to get certain shots and we laughed and apologized to him for having a bunch of drunkies that made his job impossible!!

so with all that our pics still came out amazing lol

the next month i was a bm in my best friends wedding and she used alberto from duet and i was messing with him saying ooh i just used u guys where r my proofs etc...he goes what date which photog...i told him..he started laughing and went..ooohh u were that wild bunch...so tj prob went back and said my god those people were animals
