Duet Parent Albums?

How many pictures do you get to choose for your parent albums? I think ours is only 20 or 30 pages and one photo for each page. I'm having a really hard time narrowing down the photos. I have 15 photos already and I haven't even made it down the aisle yet. We can always add extra, but I hope not TOO much extra. lol! So what kind of photos did you include in your parent albums, specifically your ILs albums? For example, I had a photo of the invitation and my jewelry and shoes all together... should I take that out? I love the photo, but my ILs don't appreciate things like that like I do and I feel like it's almost a waste of a page. Now for my parents, I'll definitely be including all the little details. My mom worked her azz off on those details! lol! Sorry if this post was a little rambly and nonsensical, I think I've taken more than the recommended dosage of dayquil.

Anybody? Bueller..... Bueller?

I just don't know how much should be formal photos and how much fun, how many photos should be about us and how many should be about the guests.

I am not going to be much help, I had them just duplicate my album just in a smaller size so it had the same 80 pictures (although I think I went over by 6). i would say if you don't think they will appreciate it then don't put it in. Maybe instead put a picture you know they would love to have like you and DH with someone on his side of the family?

Yeah I have no doubts that I'm going to be going over the rec'd amount. I just wish my ILs would pick the photos themselves! I asked them! I'll leave it out. They'll probably never look at the thing anyway! lol!

mine has 24. I gave the pics to each set of parents and said pick 24 pictures.

ours have 24... i just picked the best few photos from each of the following categories:

bride and groom/bp pics (6 or 7)
family pics (3 or 4)
ceremony (7ish)
reception (7ish)

i was having such a hard time but when i broke it down into categories it made it easier!

Our parent albums hold 24 pictures. I gave a link to the proofs to my mom and MIL and told them to pick 24 and any other that they want copies of. I'll just make the copies on Snapfish and give them each an 8X10 since I have a few included in my package. I just feel like they should choose the pictures they want. Did you look at the parent order form? I was suprised to see that each extra page is $15, so 24 pictures sounds good to me!
