extra favors?

what did you do with extra favors from your bridal shower or wedding, or any other wedding related event? i have a bag of like, 15 or so extra favors from my bridal shower.. they are measuring spoons shaped like hearts. my mom gave them to me when i moved into my new house. problem is i have no idea what to do with them! what did you do with any extra favors? I feel bad just tossing them..

I still have them in my trunk.

But I gave a few to co-workers and some to people who were invited but couldn't attend the wedding. They are coasters (photo coasters to go with our photobooth), so I gave a few people an extra set as well.

Maybe you can post it on BHB? Maybe there's a bride with the same favors who could use a few extra?

I remember one of the girls on this board collecting them for a project she was doing. Mine weren't that good so they are just sitting in a box.

i have like 5 of my cookie favors in the freezer from the wedding

and i have like 20 chapsticks from my bridal shower just in my toitletry bags haha

Oh I love those measuring spoons!!! Feel free to send me one!!!

I'd say just give them out to people who didn't get one in the first place. Rather than throw them away. Also you could just tie them to gifts for people for things like housewarming, birthday, christmas, etc. Like a present decoration.

We had irish soda bread so we just gave them to anyone who wanted extras. some of my fam members took like 6 the next day.

For my shower by mom gave out bags. She has a bunch in her closet & when ever anyone is at her house & needs a bag she pulls them out.
For the wedding we gave out salt & pepper shakers, we ended up with 12 extras. I have them in a storage box & when we use our fine china everyone at the table will have their our salt & pepper.

Bottles of wine....Full bottles and we had 2 cases. Finished it in less than 6 mons

For my shower my mom gave out purse valet's. She sent ones to people that gave a gift but didn't come and then she sold the rest to her salon (they sell them too).

For the wedding favors, we gave out ones to people who forgot to take them (my mom, MIL, SIL, BIL, my sis, a friend who left early, etc). One of my guests later asked for an extra, so I gave her one too.

There is actually a lady I read about this week in People that throws baby showers for military wives, I would look into donating them to her organization, it's a nice small thing you could do to help our military.

Maybe use them for extra wishing well gifts for other bridal showers? That is if they dont have your name on them. lol
