just curious!! i have panic attacks and well i wonder if anyone took one preemptively so they could really relax and enjoy the day!! ty!!!

no and i sort of wish i did to tell you the truth! but having never taking it prior i was afraid how it would interact with my system (esp with alcohol)sorry i can't be more help!

I would just be afraid of getting too tired being on it, and it is a long day.But if you get claustrophobia with your panic attacks, take it. WIth everyone hugging you all day, you may start to get that feeling!
If you take it, see if you can get a really low dose. That should really be enough. It is a happy event that goes by fast, so it's doubtful that you need a major dose.

Be sure you know how you react with it. My DH took a 24 hour decongestant because he was stuffy the night before and got quite loopy on a few drinks.

nothing, i was very calm the whole day and talked to DH quite a few times throughout the day. i think that helped!!

Nope. I was very calm....more calm than I could have imaged. I did enjoy a glass of wine at about 12:30 PM before the ceremony at 3...but that's it!

Nope! I'm prone to anxiety attacks, and I think I was calmer naturally than I would have been had I taken something.

I wasn't nervous at all, but a couple of mimosas can't hurt, right?Like other ladies have said - I wouldn't take the risk with a xanax.

That sounds like you could end up like the bride on Sixteen Candles.I had two mimosas and that was really nice and helped me enjoy the day.

I was so calm and relaxed---very out of character for high strung me...I was just SO HAPPY that our wedding day was here, nothing could overshadow that!

I was shockingly calm the whole day, which is pretty much never the case with me on a day to day basis.

No, and I probably would not. Xanax makes me loopy and tired.I had such a natural high on my wedding day. I did not even drink anything, I did not need to I felt so good! I did not want anything to bring me down
