I was super calm too....which is weird b/c I get amped up over the smallest things. In fact, I think that everyone was thinking I'd be a loon, but I was really calm.

My SIL took 1/2 a Valium before her wedding tho. Then she proceeded to tell everyone, which grossed most people out b/c she was 4 months pregnant.

No, I didn't take anything for my wedding.

If you are thinking about taking something for that day, try it before the wedding to see how you react to it. Also, take half of it. Taking half may help and it may not make you too tired.

I didn't take anything and didn't really need it other than when I was in the limo on the way to the church. I was very calm except for that 10 minute ride. Once we were married, I was so happy and really enjoyed the rest of the day.

i RARELY take xanax... its in my purse as a safety net though lol

i really hope i am like all of you!!!!!

i hear that alot though... that the day of..a weird calm comes over you!!!

i just might need a xany the day before though lol

nope!

didn't need them. did I have anxiety? yup. but I dealt with it. I wouldn't change those feelings though. it was GOOD anxiety

no. I didnt get bad until the 20 minutes before when i was in the bridal suite waiting for the guests to arrive. I just started slamming glasses of wine. By the time i was ready to walk down the aisle i had perma grin and was just fine.

If it's something you normally take and are used to - And know how it will affect you....if you think you'll need it, then take it - But if you don't regularly take that type of medication, your wedding day is NOT the time to start !!! - Have a glass of champagne (or 2....or 5 !!)

No - I was very organized and had a DOC, so it was probably one of the most relaxing days I have had. And the getting ready part with my BM's and mom was so much fun!!

I'm prone to anxiety attacks, but it never dawned on me to take something. I admit, I was def anxious until I saw DH. He calmed me. I recommend staying away from Coffee, taking quiet time in the morning (I had 12 BMs buzzing about), and talking to FH.
