For those ladies who have done...or are doing a TTD session

What are some of the prices that you are paying to do this....and what does it include?

During our December HM in Cancun we are thinking about doing a TTD session...but not sure if it is overpriced doing it there or not. Some averages I am getting for 2 to 3 hrs are $500-$675....all with hi res DVD of photos...some full edits, and some only like 50 edits. If we don't do it there, then it wouldn't be until next year when it's warm here somewhere.

Nice!!! I love the Mexican beaches with the bright blue water...but not sure if it's worth it money wise. I figure when else would be able to do it somewhere like that and suck it up and just pay. Just trying to do research first. lol

Re: For those ladies who have done...or are doing a TTD session

Lovemore was $350 for a 2 hour shoot with a hi-res CD of about 150 edited images. The prices might've gone up since 2010 but I assure you any increase is worth it!

Re: For those ladies who have done...or are doing a TTD session

CD of all images edited - I have no idea how many but we went out twice - once in the evening and once in the morning because she didn't like the evening sky.

Oh interesting. Do you feel 2 hrs was enough time to get all of the shots?

I have two with two different packages. One for $500 for 2 hrs with all photos edited to DVD, and one other one for $650 with 3-4 hrs and only 50 edits, but all photos on a disk

Yes - I felt it was enough. Wasn't supposed to go twice but, like I said, my photographer wasn't thrilled with the sky so she offered to pick us up again in the morning and go - no charge. I'd go with the first package if it were me.

Check to see what happens if it rains? Can they reschedule? etc.

I'd definitely go for the first package. Our shoot was a little over 2 hours and we took about 400 photos. They edited 156 for us on the disc.

Oh ok. Yea they were telling me about 100 photos an hour. I guess that is just their average.

Probably about. I didn't feel like I missed out on any photos. 156 was more than enough. Our photographer was also a husband and wife team so they were both shooting at once at some points so they might have taken a little more than just a single shooter would in an hour.
