Getting to Work Story :::rolling eyes:::

So 99% of the time, I'm the one who opens the office. I have the remote for the gates and everything. It's a small office, no more than 6 people working there at one time.

Today, I see a woman watching the gate go up as I press the button on the remote, like it was magic! I actually say that to myself when people watch it and then I chuckle to myself. The remote-controlled gate is probably the coolest thing about my job.

So I go to unlock and open the door and this woman is now standing there behind me, so I said 'Can I help you?' She says 'Miss Ana is here?' That's what Greeks call DH's mom, Miss Ana, even though she's married and her name is JOANNA or in Greek it's IOANNA.

Anyway, with a very perplexed and slightly condescending face I'm like, 'No, no one's here... I'm JUST opening the gates... you saw...' She looked so disappointed when I said this! Like she was expecting DH's mom to be in the office, in the dark, behind a closed gate!
