Awww.. Yea we didn't exchange big wedding gifts but this year we are going all out, we never have before because of the wedding. Maybe you can get him something sentimental for the house?

Re: gifts
Our original plan was to not buy for each other at all, then we said we would buy 2 things for the house instead of gifts for each other buttttt I'm a huge Christmas person and couldn't help myself so we ended up buying lots of gifts for each other lol

Re: gifts
We said we should buy stuff for the house and that's basically what we're doing. DH bought me a floor lamp from pottery barn that I wanted and I am getting him a gift card to home depot and I getting him a pair of personlized Nikes too. He created them on the website and I put Anney on the right sneaker and Marco on the left.I'm always right..obviously

eta: I know it's the holidays but you're husband and wife now and it's good that you have the same priorities. You can still do a little something as in making him a special breakfast etc
I even told my parents to only get me presents if they are for the house or for the baby. So DH and I's christmas present from them is our crib

Re: gifts
I spent $150 on him, and although I wish I could spend more, we really need to save money. It'll be worth it in the end.

Re: gifts
DH is impossible to buy for so this year bc its our first year (tis will not happen again) he has gotten a gift everyday for 25 days...nothing big... one day he got a scratch off, one day a 6 pk of Heineken, one day we said no phones or technology and we watched a movie together, one night he didnt have to cook or clean up after...he is loving it. He looks forward to the envelope on the counter in the morning (I have decorated and colored every envelope with the day and the #) His last gift is the laps in the exotic car in NJ (the groupon)so it didnt cost me a lot but he LOVES it!!!

Re: gifts
I bought him a little something but I know he won't be buying me anything. We have 3 girls so basically our money goes to them. Like everything year, the girls get everything they want minus the Ipad they have been asking for but I got them a Coby tablet instead.Seeing them wake up and seeing all the gifts under the tree on Christmas day is priceless.

Re: gifts
i like this idea from one of V's links7. For the movie buff family, consider putting together a movie basket; include popcorn, a box or two of candy, and a Redbox movie code or two (there are often free movie codes going around). Or, if you are technologically savvy, include a video of the family from years past.
i would maybe put a little card in there and make it look like a coupon saying for one night he gets to choose any guy action movie of his choice and you promise to watch with him
