If you meet with a sales consultant, will they ever waive the iniation (sp) fee?

I didn't pay the initiation fee because I was able to show proof that I was leaving a different gym

yep! They will always negotiate. DH and I belonged there...went to another gym...then rejoined NYSC. Both times we joined we got them to drop the fee and lower the monthly rate.

they dropped the fee for us bc we previously went to another gym in the area

yes you just cant back down if they say no at first. They will cave bc they want your business.
