has anyone ever sold furniture before?

We bought this sofa last year

it's a beautiful 4 piece sectional... that i HATE!!!!!

we live in an apt, this sofa takes up 2/3 of my living space!!! i completely hate it!!!!

i want to sell it and buy a smaller one...

where can i list it? ebay? craigslist?

DH and I actually JUST sold our sectional couch on craigslist a month ago...

I put DH in charge of the whole thing - we took pictures and he put the ad up and everything. He put it up on a Sunday and we didn't have any real inquiries about it until that Wednesday... we had two different couples come check it out... one brought cash and took it right on the spot! Our new stuff was coming Saturday so we only went 2 days with no couch (we inflated the air mattress to have something to chill on).

It felt a little weird having strangers come to my apartment to check it out, but we actually had another friend come over for 'support' lol. The whole thing was fine.

Only recommendation - if someone says they're serious about buying it, ask for a deposit so that they commit.
