Have you ever hooked up at a wedding?

That question about hookups at our weddings made me think of all the weddings I went to when I was single.

We were all single once, so back when you were single, did you ever hook up at a wedding.


I did twice actually.

The first was with the groom's hot younger brother. The bride was a close family friend and I met the groom and his brother a few days before the wedding when we took the guys to Flynns for a night out while the bride was doing girl stuff. It was so much fun because all the guys were Marines, but I was a lot younger then them. But Stephen, the brother of the groom was hot. We made out at the wedding.

The second was at a wedding in PA where one of the GMs was from DC and I was living there. What a nightmare. That guy drove me nuts for weeks after. On our first real date in DC he called me his girlfriend. He was so horribly clingy.

I also got setup at a wedding but he had such a think Mass accent I couldn't understand a thing he said, so that never went anywhere.

I dated DH 5 yrs before we got married and all of the weddings I attended in my adult life I was already with him so nope, not me.

Same here only I dated/was engaged to DH for 8 years before we got married.

No; I have never been to a wedding without DH, so unless you count him ...

Nope. The only weddings I've been to are a wedding in Ireland that I was a flower girl in when I was 4 and mine...so never had that option!

nope...i have only been to weddings with DH besides when i was a kid

Wow, I have dated DH for 5 years but went to tons single. I feel like since 2003 I have averaged 4 weddings a year. In fall 2003 he was with me, but from late 2003- Sept 2005 I was flying solo. So I went to probably 7 or 8 weddings alone.

Though the first one I hooked up with I was only a sophomore in college. That was pre-DH altogether. It was a family friend so I was young.
