I don't think that's bad at all...we sent ours out at about 3 1/2 months, and we still haven't received the cards from a family wedding in July. 5 months is fine!

Better late than never and honestly, try to put thought into it and make them personal.... DH's cousin made sure to get them out ASAP and seriously ours had like a few words on it and it just looked like she didnt even want to put in the effort... That was more of a slap in the face than if we were to not even receive a TY ... IMO at least

I say definitely better late than never! We took a long time as well, but I am glad that is over!

I feel so much better!!! and yes, luckily it is a photo thank you card so I can always blame that as a delay if anyone actually says anything to me.

I just reread the post subject and it almost implies that I was considering NOT sending them if it was too late. Totally not the case. No matter what I will write heartfelt messages in each, I just needed reassurance that sending them before the 5 month mark was OK.

I already prepped DH that he'll be doing them for his side. He's not pumped about it but totally understands, that with my busy schedule, that's only fair. YAY haha

I STILL have a few left to do. I read that you have up to a year.

We once got one 2 , yes TWO years after a wedding...I had completely forgotten we didn't even get a TY by that point. LOL

I ordered my thank you cards ... not sure when they will be here ... then I will have to write them out ...

I hope to have them out by this summer! :)
