How long before you send thank yous?

I have been waiting for pics from my photographer... it's been a little more than a month and I am getting antsy to send thank yous!

How long did you guys wait?

I sent ours last week and I was married in September, 4 months! Lol

Our thank you cards were delivered today. We will send out in the next couple of weeks.

Don't go by me because I'm still trying v to get my butt to address the envelopes only had, them since nov oy

it's gotten to the point where i am ashamed of myself. 7 months passed already. i'll prob send it out by next week. I just need to stamp them and put the our address label. so bad

I need to get mine designed this month. So I think they will go out next month.

I sent mine out about 4 months after the wedding, but immediately after getting my pro pics (about a week after getting pro pics, they were addressed and stamped)

eta- that is because of my family bugging me to send them out immediately. I probably would've waited until the 6 month mark to send them, so I could've taken my time.

i sent mine out in August and we got married in June, so 2 months later. Had to wait to get the TY cards from the photographer

at least you had like a million guests! I only had 100 and it still took me almost 7 months.

Well, I did them in waves so the first ones went out a few months ago. Then I got seriously lazy but the last of them went out like a week or two ago. good riddance!!!

But, I did personalize almost all of them and we didn't get out proofs until end of august and our thank you cards in septemper

i told my photog what pic we wanted and supposedly they're printing them now. once i get them i anticipate i can turn them around in 2-3 weeks

I wrote them out and sent them as soon as I got them, it was about 3 months later.

You have up till a year to send them before it's considered rude or poor etiquette I heard

I just received my pro-pics back from the photographer last week. I will have them all ready to be sent out by next week. I was married in October.

I just got yelled at last night about this! My MIL said half her friends got my thank yous months ago and the rest haven't gotten any yet! Oops! I was on a roll and then got lazy!!!
