how long did it take untill you mailed out thank yous

is there any proper amount of time? ill be married 2 months in like 2 weeks and i wont be getting my thank you pics untill 2 weeks from now. im starting to get comments from people that i havent mailed out thank yous yet... im actually starting to feel bad. should i go and get thank yous and send them out before the pic ones or is it okay to wait the 2 weeks?

My cousin didn't send hers out til last week, and she got married in August. I got married in November, and I still haven't either (waiting to choose pic I like). I think (not 100% sure) that some take as much as up to 8-12 months to send them out.

i think 'technically' you have 3 months to get them out. next wednesday is our 4th month mark, and so far i only have about 1/3 of them done.

We're almost done and hope to mail them out on Monday. We got married in the beginning of July.

Got married in late September and I am just writing them out now. I am waiting on getting my wallet pics back.

We got ours out in 2 months. Had to get those done then get started on xmas cards!

We mailed our TY's at the 5 week mark. I wanted to get it over with and not drag them out over the holidays.

I think 3-4 months is the norm so you are fine. If you want, you could write them out now and slip in the picture when they are ready.

I think mine took about 2 1/2 months. We wanted to keep it under 3 months. We had them written out but we had to wait for the photos!

we sent ours out in about 2 months. As soon as I got my TY pic back I sent them out

I sent mine out exactly on the three month mark. By the time you get home from honeymoon, pick a card/picture, then writing them, it is time consuming.

I think I took like 4 months.

I was at a wedding in April & we STILL haven't gotten a Thank-You. She hasn't even ordered them yet!!

My brother and sister-in-law didn't send theirs out for almost a year. We just picked our pic, so I don't know how long it's going to take from here.

mine were out in 2 months.

I would defiantely wait for the pic. Maybe you could pick up the cards from your photographer and start writing them out now, this way, you will just have to insert the pic when you get them and mail them.

I think I was at about a month and a half. It is such a relief to get them done!

I got my out about 6 weeks after I was married. I pre-addressed the envelopes prior to the wedding and that helped A LOT.

I had ours out by 3 month mark.

But if it makes you feel any better my cousin was married in 98 or 99 and I am still waiting for a thank you!

We got married in October and they were out by January.
