I almost spit on someone this weekend...

I have a particular family member whom over the years has really showed how much of a piece of trash they are. They've talked sh*t about every member of my immediate family, they've meddled into our family business when they shouldn't have, etc. It takes a lot for me to feel this way about someone, but the second someone says something about my family, I cut off all ties. And not to mention, this particular person spread rumors about hubby when we got engaged that he was married before and has children, and a bunch of other crap (obviously none of it being true). She obviously was not invited to hte wedding and made a big fuss about it. Not that I care...

Now fast forward to this weekend and the funeral. She showed up, and out of respect (even though I haven't talked to her in YEARS), I decided to go up to her to offer my condolences. She was close to my aunt's husband, so I didn't want to be rude about it. I approached her, put my hand out and said the words, and she BARELY moved her hand and then made the most f*cking DISGUSTING face ever as if she was so disgusted that I was there. Out of respect for my aunt and all the guests there, I just let it go, and talked to the people near her and said hello to them.

I'm so f*cking disgusted by the whole thing. It's a f*cking funeral, if for nobody else, have some respect for the person that passed away and for the family. Don't act like a f*cking deuschebag.

UGHHHH .. Im sorry. You are a good person to be that big of a person and be respectful and go over to her and try to be cordial. People are disgusting

i have seen this happen at weddings and funerals and i think its horrible that people can not act their age and behave at functions like this.

It's amazing how some people have no etiquette or class! She should be ashamed of herself. Kudos to you for being the bigger person and sorry you have to deal with this!!!

that is awful. Some people never grow the eff up She sounds like a classless woman and it's a good thing you didn't invite her to your wedding! You don't need to see her ugly mug there!

some people need to grow up and get over things esp when it comes to situations like this. i'm glad that you were the bigger person in that situation. now you can just drop that person out of your life. sorry she was such a b*tch about it
