I just got home from taping....
The Newlywed Game show!!!!! We tried out last Tuesday night and were called to be on the show and went in today ! It was really fun--I am not going to tell any details about the show BUT will tell you all when it airs!!!It was really fun

I actually realized there was another LIW in the green room with me (she taped the 3rd show of the day, I was in the 2nd) but I don't want to out her until she FMs me back! I didn't realize it was her til I went home and checked the 2010 bride list!

Very cool!!! Glad to hear there are actual NEWLYWEDS on the show... we were watching the other day and everyone was married like 3 to 5 years already. DH and I were joking that we were newlyweds compared to them at 15 months now...

They don't allow anyone rs married over 2 years on now! Everyone there (9 couples) were married in the last year!

AWWW I wish you were! It was really fun! The two other couples we were on with were from Boston and Philly--wish I knew another LIW couple in the green room!
We were nervous beforehand--I couldn't stop going to the bathroom because I thought my bladder would explode on stage! I was fine once we were on stage but feel like my face hurt from smiling so much for the camera.
There were some questions that I had to think was it worth giving the real answer to and being embarrassed on national TV, or the answer I thought DH would give so that our parents' jaws wouldn't drop when they saw the show....in the end, I think we were the boring straight edge couple!
I may be away on my HM when it airs in November but you can be sure I will find a way to log onto LIW to let everyone know when we'll be on!

Awe I am jealous. We were called to audition, I sent in the application once I realized it was under 2 years. But because of going to Louisville this weekend DH said he didn't have time, so we didn't audition.

seriously. some of the questions are pretty out there!
i remember onee was talking about female grooming....like, i know the answer and DH knows the answer.....but do i want public television and my mom and dad to know the answer.
hahahhaha
