It didn't work

I want to start off by saying thank you. All the prayer, well wishes, hugs, FB status' and messages really meant a lot to DH and I. It was incredible knowing we had so many people pulling for us.

Sadly, the IVF did not work. Unfortunately we sunk everything we had into it money wise so doing it agian is not an option at least for a couple years. We are devastated but trying to focus on the fact that we have each other and an amazingly strong relationship to get us through.

Again, thank you so much for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers, I really cannot say enough what a comfort it has been.

Oh my goodness...I was so hoping it would work..I am so sorry to hear this. Just know that you WILL be parents someday and because of all you have been through you will be the best parents out there. You and your DH are in my thoughts sweetheart.

Oh Christina I am soo sorry!!! I cant imagine how you feel but you are an amazingly strong person and it is wonderful that you and your DH are so great together and there for each other!! You will get through this and I am praying for you!!!

Oh Christina, I'm so terribly sorry. I was rooting for you and hoping that this would be it for you guys.

You seem to have an incredibly strong relationship and I am thankful that you have each other to get you through this tough time.

I'm so sorry.

I would like to share a brief story.

Good friends of mine were trying to conceive... for years. They were both diagnosed with cancer, one right after the other. After they were in remission, they wanted to try again. They were told it was practically impossible to conceive but went ahead with fertility treatments anyway.

When they were all tapped out of money from fertility treatments, they decided that it wasn't meant to be and they were ok with that.

About 3 three months later, when they thought they could never conceive, they were pregnant. The baby is over a year old and the cutest little boy on Staten Island.

I'm so sorry to hear this Christina. I can't imagine how difficult it is for you guys. You are so right that your strong and amazing relationship WILL get you through this, and WILL make your future bright. You guys will be parents, and better parents because of all of this. Just remember there's always other options!! My cousin couldnt get preg for the longest time... she spend a ton of money on IVF and anything else they could even attempt... and then her and her hubby decided to adopt, were getting a baby... and then the baby's mother changed her mind and wanted to keep it... they were devastated and It seemed like all was lost for them... nothing went their way... but then one day, they were able to adopt a beautiful baby boy and I cannot tell you how happy those 2 are right now... So dont give up! You WILL have your family one day

Oh christina...my heart is breaking for you...I thought about u all night and all morning praying this worked for you guys....I'm not going to pretend I know how u feel or think anything I could ever say will make u feel better...this just flat out **** s...I cannot think of anyone more deserving to be a mother than you..I wan u to know this...when it happens and it wil whether natural,adoption,surrogate whatver the case is...that kid will be loved on a level he or she cannot imagine and the feeling will be given right back to you guys...

Again I am so so sorry and if u need anything..anything at all..just someone to yell at I am here. Day or night.

As similar thing happen to a friend of mine. You never know. I am so sorry.

Oh Christina, I'm so sorry.

We were all on your side for this one. I can't imagine how it must feel but thank God you are both so strong to go through this. I really believe in the power of prayer and that God won't let you down in the end. My cousin and her DH did multiple cycles of IVF for YEARS and it never worked...once they gave up on it they conceived naturally. It will happen for you. Being a mommy is your destiny and it WILL happen.

It just breaks your heart - you think about all the people out there who are so undeserving of kids and they pop them out so easily and then you see a couple such as yourselves - such good people - who would care for a baby like no one else could who have trouble conceiving. It's not fair but it can't be like this forever. You will continue to stay in my prayers.
