Memorial Day BBQ

If you're hosting a Memorial Day BBQ, what are you planning on serving?

I need to get some ideas!

Re: Memorial Day BBQ

Ribs, burgers, hot dogs, pasta salads...I have a great recipe for one:

1 box of tri color pasta; cooked and cooled
1 whole pepperoni, cut into chunks
1 whole soppressata, cut into chunks
1 can of black olives
1 jar of green olives
1 package of mozzarella cheese, chut into chunks
1 package of cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
1 bottle of italian dressing

(you can add broccoli or carrots or chopped green pepper to give it some more color).

Re: Memorial Day BBQ

we aren't but my favorites besides the obvious burgers/dogs/corn on the cob...etc.

fruit salad!!

look how cute this is:

JELLO SHOTS!!

you can make these cute hamburger cookies:

with vanilla wafers, sesame seeds, peppermint patties

or make americana themed cake or cupcakes:

no bbq in america should ever go without potato salad either. or a watermelon.

Re: Memorial Day BBQ

i go overboard with all my parties..which is why i dont have any anymore... that and i dont want ANYONE sitting at the dining room table lol RAWR!!

the last gathering i had was for DiGiorno pizza ( dont ask) but i told myself i will NOT go overboard... and i didnt. I felt like i didnt have enough food. There wasnt a HUUUUUGE spread. food kept coming out (thanks to becca for womanizing the kitchen. i was drunk.sorry u burned ur hand) lol

buttt typical bbq...

chicken, skirt steak, roasted veggies, bacon wrapped corn.

and the most amazing thing ever.. apple sausage with fresh strawberries on skewers.
