My friend is expecting..

A baby boy. She lives out of state and I want to send her a different but cute gift, any suggestions??

What about a channa plaque? Though I probably wouldn't do that unless you know the color scheme of the baby's bedroom.

this sounds like a good idea and the color scheme would be pretty easy to find out...

if not, how about finding a home made blanket for the baby?

Either of these would be great! Check out Etsy...I'm sure there's some great ideas on there.

...and now I'm going to look on Etsy for things - I am so not productive at work today!

Yeah, someone suggested the channa plaque..I have to find out what her theme is going to be so I can match it up

but I didn't even think of etsy! And my godson has a blanket that was handmade that he brings with him everywhere...So many good ideas, I knew I could count on you ladies!!

My FAVORITE gifts to give for babies are always an adorable fluffy blanket and some kind of stuffed animal. You can maybe get one from build a bear that's personalized and then a monogramed blanket (if you already know the name), if not then you can leave as blank. But yes blankets are just beyond adorable.

Lands End makes these great lace baby blankets - they come in pink, blue and white for the teddy bears one, and one with bikes on it in blue. You can put their name and DOB on it - This is my gift to all of my friends and family memebrs who have new babies! They love it!

I just bought my good friend a shower gift. She is a huge Mets fan and her husband is a huge Yankee fan so I got them dueling diaper bags. Hers Mets with bottle, pacifier, bib, and onsies. His Yankees with the same. So cute!!! Can't wait to give them to her!!!!
