My hair products have been discontinued!

I'm so distraught. For years I've been using a regimen of wetting my hair, using the yellow LA looks gel, then the TIGI Curls Rock curl spray and the TIGI Curls Rock defining creme. Now TIGI friggen discontinued the Curls Rock line, and replaced it with some other curl crep. The creme, for the most part, is the same, but they don't have the spray anymore. It wasn't a hairspray, and it wasn't a shine spray, it didn't hold, it was more just a curl enhancing spray. They have a spray mousse now, but it's really sticky and made my hair all frizzy, so I think I'm going to return it.

Does anyone have a comparable product that they can recommend? I just need a curl spray that will define my waves, but not make it hard or sticky. TIA!

Re: My hair products have been discontinued!

Ohhh I so feel your pain!!!

Here are the products I use that I like:

Detangler (I like Pantene but will use anything)
Tresemme Flawless Curls Curl Hydration Creme (use very sparingly)
Tresemme Flawless Curls Mousse
Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine hairspray

Sooooo none of these are what you are asking for, but I figured I'd list them. Years ago I used L'Oreal pumping curls spray but I don't think they make it anymore, which is why I moved on.

Basically, I am no help whatsoever. Uh, sorry.

Re: My hair products have been discontinued!

Oh my god I can't believe you just said this. I JUST switched to that line because my cousin (who is a hair dresser) recommended it and it has been the only thing that's worked lately. I may die...

I second Loreal Pumping Curls. They still make it, you can buy it anywhere (i think its less than $5).

Re: My hair products have been discontinued!

I've always had luck with the Aussie curl products especially the mousse with leave in conditioner bulit in. It never makes my hair stiff and when I wash it out I can totally tell it had some conditioner in it cause my hair feels super soft and not dried out like some mousses do.

Re: My hair products have been discontinued!

Thanks girls...I will look in to finding the L'Oreal or Aussie products, but I will probably stock up on as much of the TIGI as I can find for now, regardless of the price difference.

Anything with sea salt with give you that curl when you crunch it but without the stiffness.

That looks awesome...John Freida used to have a 'Beach Blonde' line that had something similar, it smelled like coconut and salt and tanning oil, it was amazing...of course they stopped making that too I'll look to see if that is available anywhere as well...I liked that the spray I use now is aerosol so it's really super light, but all these alternatives seem to be pumps so I guess I'll just have to settle.
