sorry you are feeling down. once you get back into a program/routine you will feel better. i am the same way.. if i'm not busy i'm always thinking!!

it sounds as though you have put out more than enough effort to try to connect with your friend and she just isn't willing to give anything. at this point, i would just try to raise a conversation with her as to why she's been acting the way she's been acting. if there is no response then i think you have already done more than you can do unfortunately... you are a good person and you did your part and unfortunately people change sometimes... whatever happens i wish you the best of luck!!

as someone that's lived in four completely different places in the past 10 years (long island, buffalo area for college, southwest ohio for grad school, and now the philly area), i can tell you that people act very odd when it comes to the subject of moving. your friend might not even realize she's acting differently. i would just talk to her about it before your list of things that upset you increases--it's better to repair now than let everything bottle up and explode later .

Oh lila...I'm so sorry...first I want to say how proud u should be of ur self and dh..it takes a lot to go for what u want and u guys r doing it and once u guys get settled in things will be better and u guys can enjoy urselves more and enjoy cali...

As for these friends..I hate to say it but they don't sound like friends...u have made so many efforts to try to get together and hang out and they r just not putting in the same effort...its so sad when friends drift but it happens and I hope in time they realize what good friends they had and try to get it back...

same story with my best friend...except her DH and my DH are not friends, and i live in L.I and she lives in Queens...and she makes NO effort to call me at all and never picks up my calls, I feel sad, but I just stopped trying, everytime i confront her shes like omg im sooo busy , my family was over, etc blah blah, than i hear shes hanging out with common friends and like likw W*T*F
