CHRISTMAS!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE decorating and when we were looking at houses the first thing I noticed in the each living room is where we would put the Christmas tree! LOL! I always tell DH that the reason I agreed to the house we did buy is because I can fit an enormous tree in the living room!!!!Then it's a toss up between Thanksgiving and the 4th of July.

Christams!I love getting together with family, I love Christmas Carols and how a house smells with a fresh Christmas tree. Everything is just a bit more cozy around Christmas... oh and I LOVE that DH and I watch Elf and drink hot Chocolate in our PJ's every year.

Thanksgiving! I always loved coming home from college for Thanksgiving and now I love going to Miami with DH each year to stay with his mom.Even though I'm Jewish, Christmas is a close 2nd---DH and I go to the Hamptons for Christmas every year and see movies and relax together!

DH and I are not usually holiday people...but last Thanksgiving, we had the BEST time! we couldn't drive to our families last year, so us and a bunch of friends had a giant pot luck. it was the most chill and relaxing holiday that i've ever had! we didn't have a lot of traditional thanksgiving food, no one was stressed...just a lot of amazing food, laughs, and good people. we hope to have that potluck sort of feel every year now, but i'm not sure if my mom would ever agree to that, haha.

I'd say Christmas. My mom and I have a tradition that every year we spend a weekend baking. We've been doing it forever. I also love the running around that DH and I do together on Christmas day, as exhausting as it is. We start with my mom on Christmas Eve, my IL's Christmas morning, my father on Christmas day, and DH's Aunt's house on Christmas night.

Re: * ~NW QOTD: 10/13 ~ *
Since I moved away from home (Chicago)..I have actually started becoming indifferent about holidays. I used to be crazyyyyyyy about Christmas, but for the past few years I stopped decorating and everything. Boooo! I hope that once we have a family of our own I'll get the xmas spirit back!So I guess for now...my answer is...any holiday that gets me off of work! Yay!

Chritmas - for the obvious reasons that everyone has already posted...But I also love Rosh Hashana & Passover! I love the food and getting together with my Mom's side of the family! Matzo ball soup & charoset is the best and so is my Grandma's brisket!
