Question for Tuesday:

Did anything change for U once u became a WIFEY? If so, What changed????


I didnt live with DH before.. So MANY things changed!
I love the fact I come home with/to him!
But lol Now i have to cook Dinner EVERYDAY lol...
I miss my LITTLE bED!!!! Now i have a BIG bed lol!!!!!
We still snuggle every night though lol even though we are in a BIgger bed than my little bed we still hug at night time.
I went from Cleaning my little room to cleaning a BIG room now lol...
I miss coming home to my parents/brother.... Now i come home to an empty home =(... Since Dh gets out of work late...

Well, we lived together for a few years already so we didn't go through any major adjustments But, we have sooo much more time together now without planning for the wedding. That really took up our weekends!

DH and I also worked a LOT of overtime to save money for the wedding. usually got home 8 or even 9 and also worked weekends when we could.

We had talked about cutting down after the wedding but we didn't have much choice since work cut overtime. So now we come home around 6 every day and don't work weekends anymore. I LOVE the money I got with OT but I LOVE coming home at a decent time and spending more time with my doggies and hubby! We get to eat dinner early and hang out for hours before bedtime.

I think we are both in a better mood!

Oh, and of course the biggest change is expecting the baby!

i'm on the same boat as you V. We now live together and i now have this horrible responsibilty of cooking and cleaning

but it's nice to know that on sundays, we don't have to part ways anymore

adjusting to living on our own in our own apartment. Before the wedding, DHs aunt and bf moved in with us when his grandma passed away, so having that freedom again was soooooooo nice

What a Big difference right Evita????...

But I love it when i know we dont have to kiss good bye for the day/.... and we can lay in bed and hug at night time w/o having to leave....

OMG, everything changed!
DH & I saw each other a lot during the week but inevitably, we would fall asleep and he would run home (about ½ hour away from me) at 3am to get to work the next morning. I would always feel so bad about.

Since we got married, we live together, which we didn't before. That alone takes a lot of adjusting! It takes time to get used to living with someone else. Getting used to their way of things and how they do things.
I have to cook EVERYDAY!!!! don't get me wrong, i like cooking but coming up with ideas every single day sucks hard!
I always did my own laundry, but now i have to do it more often since there is so much of it.
And of course, the household chores which i hate with a passion!
May I take a minute to describe how muchi loathe washing and sweeping the floors? Like, honestly, I detest this chore so much! I try to put it off as much as possible but, regardless of all the wishful thinking I do - it still waits for me to clean it

It is so hard to come up with DIFFERENT THIGNS everyday!
i have TONS og cooking books but i never knwo wat to do hahahahahaha

My last name and other than that NADA. For the girls that cook enought to have leftover....lucky you we could never do that, I wish we could. It just dosent taste the same to me.

No, he eats them although he does not like left over chicken or pork because he says it's dry the second time

i don't like leftovers either! Certain things like pasta or veggies I will reheat, but not meat. I always think it tastes weird. Ive lived with DH for years before, and I DO NOT cook everyday. If I don't cook we usually order something or I make grilled cheeses or something lol.

Nothing's really changed for us either!

absolutely nothing changed. Including my name We lived together for 5 years before the wedding, so we knew it all beforehand. And I never cooked much to begin with, so I am sure as he-ll not starting now

Nothing really changed besides my last name became extended. We've lived together for 3 years already so we know our habbits and what our pet peeves...which he purposely goes out of his way to get on my nerves now. The only huge adjustment we've made is cleaning out and re-doing my stepdaughter's room to make room for the new baby coming in january.
