****NWQOTD 8/31****

Happy last day of August everyone!!! I'm so sad the summer months are about to be behind us, I really feel like the wedding took over a huge chunk of the summer and I didn't really get to all the usual summer things I love to do...I STILL have never been to Citi Field and I didn't hit the beach a single time (not even on our honeymoon!)

Soooo today's question is: Do you feel like you had an awesome summer or did it go too fast? Were there things you wanted to do but never got around to?

Obviously this summer slipped away from me...I really feel like I only got August as my summer since the wedding was mid-July and then we went on our honeymoon. I would have loved more days where I just laid out on a blanket under a tree in the park and read a book, I missed out on hanging out with a lot of friends and taking SD out to experience a lot of things (including seeing the ocean which has never happened for her!). I already can't wait for next summer!!

My summer has been incredible - best one yet! My sister and niece came up to NY for a long visit, we found out I'm pregnant, I only worked two hours a day four days a week for five weeks, we went to Aruba, we went to surprise my sister in NC...it was full of fun!

I obviously had an awesome summer, but it definitely went WAY too fast. By the time the wedding was over, we got home from our HM and really settled back in, it was already mid-July. I only went in our pool twice, and I think we only had one or two bbq's (we usually have them almost every weekend).

Summer.

Started with a string of Pearl Jam shows. Caught Eddie Vedder's guitar pic! (My 'something blue' for the wedding!)
Had my shower, bach party, mom and sister in from Florida!
Our wedding!
Our second, Indian reception!
Moved in with DH!
Attended Ilana's wedding!
DH and my birthdays!
Spent a weekend in Lake George!
Spent a couple of Saturdays at Coney Island!
Went to AC with some LIWers!

It was fcuking awesome.

I never got around to...going to the beach, but who cares.

I loved this summer..the weather has been awesome! We went to the beach almost every Saturday. I LOVE the summer though so I will always say it went too fast.

Its gone way tooo fast and definitely don't feel like I've been able to do anything. Its been consumed with soo much other things going on.

Lori's shower
Colleen's wedding
Planning/having my sister's shower
Week in Lake George with DH's family (not too much of a vacation)
And now Lori's wedding this weekend

omg... my summer was freakin awesome!!!! Dh & I kept sooo busy... we were pretty much away every weekend!

Started off with a kickass 4th of july party at a friends house... Lake George camping... Villa Roma twice... Cape Cod anny trip... a wedding... a bat mitzvah... Tiesto in concert... jets vs giants game... and im sure theres other things im forgetting.... really awesome summer

Oh yea, and we're ending the summer by having a Labor Day party at our house!!! so excited!

was great and busy for me... in june i got married, then after our HM we closed on our house and on the same day my sister had her baby... spent a lot of the summer fixing up the house and finally moved in.... it went fast!

as usual - it went waaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast.

DH worked almost every weekend; we had a lot of BBQs and family parties to attend.

We NEVER got to throw a BBQ at our new house I think we're going to try to put one together after Labor Day.

It was a good summer - just very busy and went too fast.

This summer went by so fast! There are so many things that DH and I did not get to do this summer b/c I was so busy with school work. Hopefully we can squeeze a few of them in before the weather gets too cool.

I def had an awesome summer! and i think thats why it went so fast!! time flys when you are having fun!!

we were constantly busy like every single weekend! im excited tho things are slowing down, but sad summer is over! need another 2 months of it at least!

went by toooo fast. even tho wedding was in may, i still feel like it impacted my summer. i spent too much time catching up at work after being out for 3 weeks. i did enjoy myself though. i wish i got to go out east to my parents' house more.
oh and i haven't been to a yankees game all season, which is super unusual.

I think I had a good summer, but it was really stressful running around and getting ready to move. We did some fun stuff, but our weekends were taken up with packing so we didn't do a lot of the things I wanted to. I think next summer will be better only because we'll have A LOT more free time and can do things like go to the beach or even just sit around and do nothing.

We were just talking last night about how faaaaaaast the summer went. It was pretty cool, even though we didn't go to the beach once. We had a couple of BBQ's which is always a good time.

Summer went by wayyy too fast!! The wedding and honeymoon took over July for me!

I really wanted to fix up the apartment this month...but I've hardly done enough!

I did have an awesome summer... I've had an awesome year in general though. It's gonna be hard to say goodbye to 2010.

Anyway, even though I had a blast- it still went flying by and there's always stuff that I wish I could've done but didn't get to do.

i thought it was a great summer!! sooooooooo many weddings.lol

i hate the beach and heat. all i care about is bbq almost every night for din din.

the only thing i didnt get to do is go fishing

My summer was okay. I worked a lot in summer school. I went away as soon as it ended and we go back to school tomorrow. I don't feel like I really had a summer.

It went way tooo fast!!! We need more summer, more beach! More pool time! And I've love this weather!!

DH and I had the chance to go on small weekend trips or had parties or something to do almost every weekend so that was awesome!

My summer went by SO fast and truthfully I don't have much to show for it! I spent most of the summer training the puppies which was great and not great all at once! We really didn't do too much this summer other than puppy and at the end house stuff so was it my favorite summer? no...but was it lovely? Absolutely.
