our wedding announcement was in newsday

this weekend (finally!).
i haven't seen it since we're in jersey but my mom has made copies for us. i used to love reading the wedding announcements every weekend!

That is so excited to finally see your own.

BTW - i saw the raw footage of your video when FH and I went to Wild Rose - you were so beautiful! I love the idea of not being announced when coming into the reception - By seeing your video - i convinced FH that is ok not to get announced!

CONGRATS!! isn't it exciting :)
when we put our's in newsday, I had so many people tell me 'hey, I saw you in Newsday'.
guess that was our 15 minutes :)

Congrats!

When DH & I went on HM extension to the Poconos there was someone there that recognized me from my wedding announcement that was in Newsday. I also went to school with her 20 something years ago.

I can't seem to find any info on the Newsday website about submitting an announcement. How do you do it? I had wanted to do mine--ours ran in the NY Times--but ran out of time, I hope it's not too late

usuk...In the LI Life section of the Sunday paper where the wedding announcements are, there is a small shaded box on the bottom that tells you how to submit an announcement......I have to get going on mine!!!
