Outta the hospital - update @ bottom

...not as a sales rep but as a patient's wife.

DH is having a CT scan as I type. I don't want to disclose too much info in an effort to respect him. I believe in my heart he is healthy and fine but it is still crazy and really scary.

We've been up since 4am to drive up to a hospital in Westchester (where he's from) so getting up in the middle of the night is always kinda weird...I'm disoriented and confused.

Thanks to everyone!

The sitting and waiting is really getting to me. Patients are coming and going before kieran comes out of what is supposed to be the shorter of 2 tests. I've gotten more done for school in the past 3 hours than I did in the past 2 days....

Also, I should definitely give more info - Kieran wasn't RUSHED to the hospital.....his internist found something from his routine annual exam. He assures us its not 'cancer' but I mean HOLY CRAP...to even hear that word come out of a dr's mouth is wild and all of the tests suggest he is looking for it.

We went SO early this morning bc we finally got the word that he didn't need any prior authorizations from his insurance company and that we could just go to the hospital whenever he wanted for 2 of the scans so we decided to go first thing instead of waiting.
