Please recommend your OB/GYN in Suffolk

Before I met DH, I was living in Amityville / Copiague and my OB/GYN is in Massapequa... (I love him by the way) Now, I love in Selden, and the whole Selden to Massapequa thing to see him just isn't working for me. Can anyone recommend someone good in Suffolk??

Comprehensive Gynecology in West Islip is AMAZING....Dr. Squicciarini is wonderful!

My Sister is also an OBGYN in Smithtown, let me knowi f you want her practices info. I hear she is a great doctor, but for obv reasons I dont go to her myself! lol

i've been going to suffolk ob/gyn for years. they have offices in patchogue, port jeff and smithtown. i usually see dr. strippmatter or legrano. they were reccomended to me when i was looking and i never went anywhere else!

I am going thru something similar. My OB/GYN is in Huntington and I adore her, but I now live in Centereach, AND she is not affiliated with Stonybrook Hospital, which is where I'd have my babies when the time comes. I have one final appt with her at the end of this month and then need to find someone out here. My SIL is a labor & delivery nurse at Stonybrook so she's going to recommend some good practices for me.

I am in selden. I don't recall the name of the group but I have been seeing Dr Funt for almost 20 years, that office delivered both my kids and have privilages at stony brook. I mainly see him in East Setauket now, but they have offices in Rocky Point and Sayville. Funt doesn't deliver anymore but others do like dr okeefe, who delivered my daughter, and dr porter. I would not dream of going elsewhere.

I also go to Suffolk Obgyn and LOVE them! Dr. Petraco is by far my favorite but I also really like Dr Strittmatter and Dr. Lograno. I'm hoping one of those 3 will be the ones to deliver my baby in Feb!

Dr. Ilene Gewirtz in East Islip.... she's AMAZING...i need surgery and she gave me her cell phone and told me to cal her any time day or night to talk if i have questions, is SO proactive, so smart, and on top of research


My hubby is a Dr. and I'm a drug rep (soon to be PA student), so I get all the inside info ;) She's by far the best

My OB/Gyn is the BEST!! He is a solo practitioner located in Islip, one block north of Montauk Hwy. He is smart, kind and has a great sense of humor. He was awesome when I delivered my DD too!!

Suffolk ob/gyn - they have several offices and lots of docs to choose from. Main office is on North Country Road in Port Jefferson across from Mather Hospital.
