QOTD: August 21

Hi all,

Soooo I'm pretty bad at coming up with these. So I apologize in advance!

Anyway:

Do you and DH live in an apartment or in a house? Do you want to stay there forever? Do you have a 'dream home' in mind?

Right now we are living in an apartment. We like it for now, kind of like training wheels for us!

We are hoping to move into a house in Northport in about two years or so. Hopefully but that time we will have enough money saved up to not 'settle' for a home, but actually find something we really love.

We live in an attached house in Queens. It's definitely not my 'dream' home. I'd love to have an unattached house somewhere in Nassau.

We live in a co-op in Queens right now that we bought a little less than a year ago. We just actually put our apartment up on the market, so that we can sell it and then buy a home in Queens hopefully all within the next few months (depending on the market).

We live in an apartment we were going to move to another apartment but now we dont know we might just save up to buy a house

we love it here, and plan on staying here and saving up for a house. Maybe in a few years once our credit is back on track.

We live in a house right now...it's a great starter house in Suffolk, but it's definitely NOT long term! We actually can't wait to sell and move to a better neigborhood/school district. I owned the house before we got married so we are just staying here for the time being...hopefully in a couple years we can sell and move to our 'family' house!

We live in an apartment complex, we want a house sooooooo bad bc we outgrew the apt already plus we want And honestly this apt will pop if we put one more thing in it. DH is so picky its nearly impossible to find a house!

We live in a detached 1 family house in Queens. I like it but we will be moving in 8 years when DH is able to retire

We rent a townhouse right now, I actually love it! But as soon as our lease is up we are going to buy down here in NC, the prices are unbelievable. I can definitely can get my dream house down here!

DH and I were just talking about this this weekend!

We are in a house that we bought almost two years ago and it needed lots of updating and renovations. DH is pretty handy so he did the majority of the work himself. We really gutted everything and have chosen all the detials from the tiles, to the cabinet fixtures, to the molding, etc and it'd DH's baby. He made a comment yesterday 'I'm going to have such a hard time selling this house.'

The good thing is we bought the house with a growing family in mind so we have plenty of space for 2 kids. Even if we have a third, they would be able to bunk for a bit. So I don't see us moving for at least 10 more years... if we end up having just 2 kids, maybe we will stay indefinitely. who knows!

were building an apartment in Dh parents house for now. We will either build a house on the property in a couple years or move to a new house (with a pool).
