QOTD: August 22

Happy Monday!



Since I've come back from my honeymoon, all I can think about is planning more vacations with DH. Do you have any vacations coming up? Small ones? Big ones? Where are you going?!?!

I wish I had a trip planned for the near future!!! Only one we have in mind but not definite is England/France next summer.

I'm literally thinking about vacations non-stop. It's not good!!!! I want to go to Vegas with DH sometime this fall, and then we are talking about doing a Disney trip for Valentine's day this year. We also have a wedding in Oregon next July.

I guess this big trip is that our friends are planning an Italy trip for August/September 2012. I can't wait!

We're going to Sandals Jamaica in Ocho Rios at the end of December for a full week. SOOO freakin' excited! I would have loved to have another mini vacation before then, but we just decided to sell our apartment and buy a house so gotta start saving up.

And then the next big trip will be next summer (July most likely) - we're going to take 2 weeks - one week in Albania/Montenegro and one week in Croatia. CAN'T WAIT!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE planning vacations and going on them - it's our favorite thing everr!!!

DH and I are going to vegas for 4 days this weekend. We booked it before the wedding and before I was pregnant so umm nowww I'm not looking forward to it so much. I just feel so nauseous in car rides now, i don't know how i'm going to handle the flight. Not to mention that i don't feel comfortable in a bathing suit now and i can't drink! what else is there to do in vegas

I think the next trip we will take is Miami next september for my BM's wedding. I don't see us going anywhere else this year with the baby on the way. maybe some weekend trips but nothing big. we just did maldives in june so it's time to save up

We're leaving for Jamaica in 2 and a half week! It was supposed to be a surprise for DH's 30th birthday but his father spilled the beans. Oh well, now my surprise to him is going to be red velvet cake in the shape of a Jameson bottle!

Next year we're planning either Vegas or New Orleans (a nod to Adelz for inspiring that one) and we're definitely going to be taking a cruise next New Year's (2012- 2013) since NYE falls on a Monday or a Tuesday we'll be out on the water when the clock strikes twelve!

we just came back from our yearly family vacation in montauk which was awesome!

we just planned a murder mystery weekend out in montauk at the end of october which I can not wait for

and then we're going to jamaica for 10 days for our 1 year anniversary in April.


I'm sure there will be some inpromptu weekend getaways between then. We love travelling and sight seeing

We are hoping to return to Spain next year for our friend's wedding in Sevilla

Also want to go to Oktoberfest in Germany, Turkey, and Costa Rica

Sigh. I really need a job

well since we didn't go on a honeymoon, I'm really hoping to plan THAT soon, but the way things are going right now I'm not sure that will happen

we have 2 planned

Columbus weekend we will be going to Woodloch Pines with my family for my parents 50th Anniversary

Sept 2012 will will be going on a European Cruise for 12 days

Need to plan our honeymoon, planning a Vegas trip and planning a Disney trip....let's see if DH gets off from work, otherwise my BFF gets to go

Lake George Labor Day weekend with DH and friends
maybe Philly Columbus day weekend with DH

Either Miami or Charleston, SC Veteran's Day weekend (bparty)

and Dominican late Feb/early March with DH and friends

we just did our honeymoon right after the wedding. But we are trying to plan something for feb so we can go away and see the ILs. Personally I just want to kill two birds with one stone, see the inlaws for no more than two days then take a cruise from florida

I can't wait to go on another trip!! We're going to Jamaica in May for a wedding so we'll count that, but I want to go back to Spain or Italy and DH has never been...

We just got back from Atlantic City (we went for 1 night) and next weekend we are going upstate with my family for 3 days!

Saturday, we leave for a week at my Grandma's cottage in the Finger Lakes of NY....

November for our anniversary we're going to spend the weekend in Newport, RI.... where I'll give DH his anniversary gift.. paper... airline tickets for

May when we will go to Jamaica... =)

September 2012, my entire family is going to Disney and since DH has never been, we'll spend a week there.

and while we can't officially plan yet - I'm starting the saving for:

2013 will be Italy for DH

2014 - for my 40th... Greece for me!


Ok - Yes.. I know how sick it is I have all this 'planned'.. but I used to be a TA - got hooked on travel and feel nuts if I don't have a vacation pending!

We are going to Ireland the day after Christmas!! I cant freaking wait!!!
