As long as you have no major feet issues you should be okay..probably shouldn't do it every day but I don't think one day half a mile will hurt you.

as someone who walks on daily basis A LOT and in the summer is only in flip flops I can tell u its no big deal. until I saw this question of urs I never even thought about it LOL

Im the same way .. you'll be okay as long as they are comfortable flip flops

Same here! It's not ideal, but it's better than walking barefoot.
