Riviera Maya (originally posted in the 2010 by accident)
DH and I just booked a June vacation to Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita in Riviera Maya.... neither of us have ever been to Mexico and we're super excited! (It's a joint celebration - my grad school graduation, and his taking the Level III of the CFA exam).Zoetry is all inclusive but I definitely want to check out Playa del Carmen and do some other activities. Any suggestions?

We also went to Riviera Maya for our HM.My suggestions:
-Spend one day in Playa del Carmen
-Take the ferry to Cozumel and spend the day there
-If you want to check out any mayan ruins then go to Tulum. We went to Chichen Itza and while it was interesting we didn't think it was worth the entire day that it took. So if you only have a limited amount of days in Mexico then I would suggest not going to Chichen Itza. Tulum is about 20 minutes from Riviera Maya whereas Chichen Itza is like 3 hours away. If you go to Tulum bring your bathing suit because the ruins sit atop a mountain that overlooks the ocean and it is beautiful and there is a spot where you can get in the ocean.

I have no idea which company it was. We booked it through our resort.
