Ehhh not really anything royal about it.

Do you and DH spend more time with your friends or his friends.

We really spend most of our time with his friends. Over the years of us being together his friends have become my friends. However, when we want to go out we are usually calling his friends.

HMMMM, more time with OUR friends. DH has a small group of friends. 1 lives in Patchogue that we see maybe once a month but I'm close with his FW. His BFF lives in North Carolina so we see him about 2-3 times a year.

I met DH through a friend of mine who is now married to DH's sister. So we all hang out together since DH grew up with BIL and is close with his sister. There is a large group of us but lately we can only get together a couple times a month.

Otherwise, it's mostly my friends, if not OUR friends. A bunch live in Queens so it's easier then going to the island every weekend.

Hmmm I'd say it's pretty equal amongst my friends, his friends, and our friends.

well since i moved here 4 years ago and was already dating him and had to start fresh on the friends- front...

his friends became my friends. and their wives etc.

but we mostly hang out with people who have become OUR friends.

Hmmm now- we spend most of our time with our own friends.

When DH and I first started dating, I hung out with mostly his friends. I had just moved back from college so my own friends weren't really around. Turns out, I'm not that big of a fan of DH's friends.

Half of them are great, a few more are okay and there's definitely a ****** or two. I've always felt 'obligated' to spend time with his friends though he's never felt the same obligation to mine (and honestly, I'm okay with that.) But recently I've decided to only hang out with people who's company I actually enjoy and it's been pretty awesome.

ETA: DH's best friend and my best friend are all really close. We spend most of our time just the four of us.

This is weird cause we kinda share friends...some were originally mine and some were his but we've hung out so many times that it's not really a label any more.

If it's my friends or his friends we kinda do it separately - like I'll go to dinner with one of my girlfriends every now and then but DH doesn't join us since we just want to catch up.

we live closer to his friends, so we probably see them more. but not by much. if i could LIW g2g, i probbaly see my friends more.

this - he's become friends w/ my friends' boyfriends and/or husbands and I've become friends w/ his friends' sig others but lately we hang out w/ my friends (which are now his friends). you know what i mean!!!
