Say a prayer for my stupid cousin: Update Below

He is supposed to be arriving at Cornell today... instead he is in the hopsital with staph infection and a blood clot. The stupid kid fell off a shopping cart doing shopping cart races, scraped up his leg and didn't clean the wound.

ah I hope he's okay! My brother had a staph infection once and it cleared up fine!

Update: They are draining his leg but he is ok, they think. They plan on releasing him to home tomorrow, but his classes start Monday and he won't be able to go until at least mid-Sept. He worked so hard to transfer into Cornell, I can't believe he did that.

ugh, what a mess! i hope his professors work with him on this, it's so hard to fall behind (esp in the beginning!).

So sorry to hear this happened to him, but from personal experiences with my younger brother. Boys do really stupid stuff most of the time.

Hope he has a speedy recovery and doesn't fall too far behind!

Make sure he emails or calls all of his professors TODAY so they know what's up. They'll be more likely to help him out the earlier he does that.
