So do the NW's do an ornament swap-a-roo?

Just wondering. I know its early, but today all I wanted to do was curl up with the cats and watch 'Elf', so I guess its on the brain.

Re: So do the NW's do an ornament swap-a-roo?

Err... we must've done one last year but I think it was on the '09 board, not the NW board. I don't 100% remember, but I didn't get engaged until January '09 and I definitely did the ornament exchange, so it must've just been last year!

It was fun. I loved what I received and what I gave.

I think we did a $15 limit (plus shipping) last year.

Oh, and Ilana, you can put it on your Chanukah bush.

I don't have a Chanukah bush!!!! Blasphemy!!!

I don't really decorate for winter either...unless someone wants to buy me a winter themed wreath for my door, since I've got a fall-themed one on now...but nothing with like holly or red/green...

Maybe I should sit this one out

I always collected ornaments here and there, even before I met DH. I'd take them out at holiday time and just put them around my apartment to be festive. You don't need a tree to decorate.

I honestly don't even know if I'm going to be able to decorate much at all this year... I'm due a week after Christmas. I'd end up putting stuff up and not taking it down until the baby's 3 months old... and no one wants to be THAT house, right?

I'd be happy to organize the swap as long as we make the deadline some time in the next month or so. I just don't think I could be trusted to do it all if we wait until a December deadline. But if we want to make it 11/10 for people to sign up and then get your partners by 11/20, I could definitely do that... unless you want a 2010er to take the reigns, which I would totally understand.
