Spin-off to home owners post: Who do you have your mortgage with?!

Once we start looking for a home, we're most likely going to go w/ a new bank/company. We currently have Citibank for our coop and are just not so happy w/ them especially w/ how the whole closing process went.

Any recommendations???

ours is with Chase, I don't remember who it was with originally but then Chase bought it out right after

i have a mortgage with citi as well for my co-op and didn't have any issues with them.

i am now refinancing though to get a lower rate with Teachers Federal Credit Union ... their rates were pretty low. I just started the process though so i'm not yet sure if they're good to work with or not.

you can also check out BankRate.com - they have a ton of rates on there so you can find the cheapest rates

My parents have use Teaches Federal Credit Union

They have liked them, and their rates are good

If we bu, we will probably go through TD since DH works their now and we get some killer rates
