Summer/Fall activities for a Sat. or Sun.

Hi Girls!

Married life is nice so far, but we haven't done anything 'new' lately. What are some nice ideas for an activity that doesn't require sleeping over night-- like to Fire Island (we've never been..) or somewhere else just to walk around someplace nice? I need some new ideas Like Port Jeff maybe...?

What about going to a water park or Six Flags, or Hershey's Park? You can also maybe go mini-golfing, head to the beach, etc.

Coldspring Harbor (Fish Hatchery, Whaling Museum, walk around town, have lunch)

This- but I am always pushing Greenport! I love it there

I havent done this in years - how about the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. or the Bronx Zoo

Or Brooklyn Cyclones or Long Island Ducks game.

If you go to the Cyclones you can spend the day at Coney Island before hand- ride the rollor coaster and go to the aquariam

Lots of little shops, cheese shop, ice cream store, restaurants (I really like Claudio's!), take a ferry to Shelter Island (make SURE you bring your car with you...my friend and I didn't one year, and that was a big mistake!) The wineries start within maybe 10 minutes away or so, so you could go to them too.

so many museums you could go visit, the aquarium, Central Park has a huge lake and you can take out a canoe and wade across the lake!

if you don't mind driving, you can drive up to Mystic, CT. The aquarium there is great!
