thank you card ?

im writing out my thank you cards and dont know what to write inside them.......do i write the same thing for each and then a little something to those that are really close to me?
or do I have to personalize every single thank you

I am only personalizing the for the Bridal Party and a few other people that im very close with...

i wrote this for most of them..
and a little something extra with it for people we are close to

'Thank you so much for your generous wedding present. We are so happy that you were there to celebrate our special day with us. Having you there meant so much to us. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!'

thank you!!! my brain hurts from writing out the envelopes let alone trying to think of things to write for everyone lol...........there was also people there that I dont really like so I didnt want to make them feel special (I know a little mean)

I put together 3 notes & used those for all the TY cards. I couldn't think of something different for everyone

i started writing TY cards this past weekend too ... huge PITA! most of them are generic, but some have more personalized messages.

i printed out the envelopes though cause i'm waaay too lazy to write them out

i personalized them if there was something i could think of that stood out from the wedding or had something special to thank them for...otherwise i wrote fairly generic statements to everyone.

i wrote basically the same thing then on a few i made more personal..like bp close friends and fam
