Re: TTC fears
i'm cracking up thinking of all of the things i was afraid of, and how that all went out the window.guess what? nothing i can do about it now! if i poop on the table, so be it. morning sickness? yeah it was awful but i lived. barely.
i am proud to say i no longer pass out when having blood drawn!!!
If they have to cut my va-jay, so be it. it will heal.
if i have to have a c-section, hopefully my ab muscles will return to somewhat normal shape.
you will all be fine.
above all my greatest fear was not being able to conceive, but, so far so good.

At least I'm not the only one - I find it bizarre that something moves inside of you. It just creeps me out.

I am sure once I am pregnant I will be ok, but as anything else the fear of the unknown are the biggest fears we all have which usually turn out to be the most insignificant

This made me feel a little bit better about it. My mom says the same thing. 'It won't matter.' But it's hard to believe from where I'm standing!

this makes me feel better! I know my fears are irrational & they have been getting better the more we talk about ttc . . . . . . . . plus there is nothing I can do about it once I become pregnant.
Regy is right! it's the fear of the unknown.
edit! I am happy that I am not the only one with these fears.

glad i could help a little. like everything else... you will just learn to deal. it may not be glamourous (it's like the opposite of glam) but you will deal.i pee a little every time i sneeze. it's awesome. just have to laugh (and wear a pantiliner).

I was going to write all of this! It's so funny because I feel like I've become way more willing to be open about my body (and hear other people talk about their bodies!). Shame and embarrassment go straight out the window after experiencing pregnancy!
However, I will say that I didn't poop during labor, and my husband gave me a high five for that

Oh thats just amazing!
I have the same fears... the pooping, hating having my blood drawn, the fact that a PERSON will be growing in me. Actually, the fact that if I have a boy a peni s will be inside of me freaks me to no end.
I am also petrified of the actual giving birth thing, will it hurt when my skin stretches, what if I am on bedrest and what will i do for all those months just sitting there.
We're not planning on TTC for a few years. I need a few friends to go through all of this first and tell me how it is.
