Ummm gross!

Ummm gross!

So I'm cleaning out the closet in what will be our baby's room and I take out our toasting flutes. I opened up the box to reminisce and I see that Westbury Manor did not even wash out our toasting flutes!!!!

Isn't that gross? I was so skeeved! So girls, go check your toasting flutes and cake cutters to see if they're still dirty so you don't wind up cleaning dried champagne off them 10 months later!

Also check your cake toppers. They left remnants of cake on ours. Luckily I noticed the next day, but they really hadn't cleaned anything.

my RH didnt clean our cake cutters, it was gross when we got back from our HM and I saw them all sticky in the plastic box, I was like who does that? Would it have killed them to rinse the cake off the knives? people are nasty!

Mine cleaned everything and I cleaned then again. We have ours out in the china cabinet so they are good. Just used them the other day

i had the same thing a few months ago! mine were all sticky with champagne..it is disgusting!

thats my only complaint about the Coral House... they put my cake topper back in the box with icing all over it... and all they did was wipe off the cake knife... i was pretty annoyed...

DM cleaned everything off for us and then I rinsed it again before putting everything away.

hahahahahaha So funny. I noticed that about 3 months after the wedding as well. I was like ewwwwww lol But they cake cutter & that stuff was clean. Go figure.

Bleck!

We got lucky, that was not the case with us. DH just looked at them this past week when we were unpacking, otherwise that would have been 1 1/2 years...we'd have to soak it in acid or something to get it to come off.

Our Cake topper as in a nice box with shaped foam...the RH wrapped it in random tissue paper and stuffed it in a FedEx envelope! Mind you I took the time to print out BIG labels and put it on every box we were to get back to make it easy. I was so pissed the next day. They threw away our after party sign. and a bunch of other stuff!
