ETA: For instance, if your last name is 'Stroker' and your first name is 'William', do NOT let people call you Willie. Just, DON'T.

not super funny but my friends sister in law is Hellen Hellen. I think I would opt to keep my maiden name in that case!!!


Worst name growing up was a girl who I played hockey with, her last name was Dyke, what a horrible name for female hockey player!

These are too funny!!!

I once knew someone with the last name 'Ichel'... she used to joke that if she got pregnant and had a boy he would 'Michael Ichel' and if it was a good she would be 'Eunice Ichel'

Luckily she did not name her kids either of those names!!
