so i have a question for you.

hmmmmmmmm DH would love that. i'm debating b/c we aren't going to get new furniture yet, and the couches we have now have a greenish tone but i want to get dark brown ones eventually, but i don't want to not paint yet b/c i don't want to match the ugly couches. UGH.

Re: wall colors

it moderarely stresses me out. did you pick the color with the intention of keeping that way for a long time?

i don't know why i am bugging about this so much. does the color match the adjoining rooms, like does it 'flow' HAHA!

Re: wall colors

We have neutral wallpaper. Tan on all walls..then the back wall (as an accent) a darker brown wallpaper. It looks really good. I wasn't sure about the two-tone but my uncle is a professional and did a great job.

Re: wall colors

Our entire house is neutral/cream with white moulding. I hear ya on maybe wanting a color. When we do decide to paint, our living room will likely be some shade of beige/tan. I'd like to keep it a neutral but something darker than what we have now. Not sure when the painting will take place but we'd need new furniture (just a futon for now) and I'd like to be able to switch up decor without clashing with wall colors.

Re: wall colors

All of the 'living areas' in our apartment are the same very neutral very light beige color. The only rooms that are a color are the bedroom and the bathroom.

Re: wall colors

I like one wall to have an accent color. Love red, and I also love green! Right now, we are renting from my parents and it's a beige color. very soft and pretty, but i like color to accent one wall!

Our living room is a light yellow. It used to be white and when we painted it yellow it totally brightened the room up!

Re: wall colors

I don't remember the names of the paint colors but our living room is a creamy tan with a more golden tan on the accent wall.

In the fall/winter we put up red and gold accents and summer/spring we use light blues and green accents.

Our couches are chocolate brown.
